Woohoo!

Not going school tomorrow and my 2 weeks holiday coming up! Glad that I went to school today no matter how reluctant I am. Thanks to Zakia, Shao Cheng, Andy, William, Teresa and Yuenky which made my sickness a bit better!

Let's side track a bit. I noticed that laughing is the best medicine. It cures all the illnesses and headaches. I secretly laughed to this picture...

For the two who know what I mean, you must be laughing now! I think it's like print screen and submiting it. "I didn't do it but I found this on grosskia.blogspot.com"

Had marketing UT after school and it was stressful. I managed to finish the test although there is a 2 marks question which I anyhow answered. I was relieved that I spent adequate time on the 8 and 10 marks questions.

After school went Causeway point, Dian Xiao Er for belated birthday celebration cum mini gathering with Yuenky. (offline queen)

Only me and Teresa can make it. All the other members of the cheapo gang, WHERE ARE YOU ALL?

Marmite Chicken: Nice but I don't like the bones... lazy

Ma-Po Tofu: not spicy

Ten Wonder Duck: Nice!

After that, chiong home to watch the Paris and Milan (Nu wang ben se). By the way, I had finally found the link to watch all the episodes @ www.singaporewave.com

Auntie Lucy ROCKS!

Last but not least, Sunday going botanic garden!

The sick feeling!

I feel like slime now! My temperature inside my body is hot while my outer layer is cold. That's how a slime feels like. Or at least that is what I think slime should be like. Fear not, I don't have H1N1 influenza because I declare my temperature every school days~

My feeling now is horrible. I am like a rotten vegetable. I am madly drinking down glasses of plain water and the soft headache is tingling me at the right time whenever I smile or open my mouth. The head or brain area is hotter than the body and I am refused to eat panadols.

I feel that panadols should be the last resort and not be taken in as sweets. Oh! I forget to mention about my swallowing of saliva. It has a spiky and rough feeling whenever I swallow something.

I guess the main reason why I am suddenly feeling sick is because I consumed too much hot things. Like yesterday, we were doing FYP and I had the sudden urge to eat something. I dragged choosie along and I bought the "boost" chocolate. The chocolate had a thick caramel in every bite and I seldom eat those stuff.

In the same day, I drank hot milo and it's so thick that kind. Thick until you can feel the milo powder on the throat.

The other day I was telling someone about my special "feelings". I can sense when I am going sick. I know if I don't do something about it, I will fall sick the next day. That person, whom I cannot remember, told me that he or she has this feeling too. She can even "feel" weather. (Ma chiam weather forecast)

So today, I am officially sicked and had taken leave but bad things just don't stop here. I was using the toilet and when I came out from it, I slipped and fell on my buttock! Luckily my head didn't land on the steps. I should draw it out...

It was the most painful experience and I stayed in that position for 10 seconds? After 10 seconds, the pain from the buttock slowing travelled to the brain and I rolled on the floor and saw a dead cockroach right in my face (the latter was just kidding!)

I tried to let out some sound but no voice came out, mysteriously. The total thing take about 40 seconds before I can stand up again. I was lucky to say that my brain sent a message to my left hand's nerves and instructed it to move quickly before I fall and supported me. If the back of my head hit the steps, I should be blanked out like as if someone switched me off.

Tomorrow will be UT and Seoul garden after school for Yuenky's birthday. I can imagine myself not coming on Friday because of the heaty food on Thursday. Needless to say, Friday will be the last day of school before my 2 weeks holidays. If I am well, I will go school. If not, no point going school and stress myself out as it will be a stressful day on Friday anyway.

Oh ya! Yesterday went Teresa's house for mahjong session. Won $15 :)

A happy day

Yesterday went to clementi kbox to celebrate my sis's birthday. The people that went were: Me, Mum, 2 Sis, sis's husband, Tb, Mk, Hx and Ws. Actually wanted to bring Timothy along but was afraid that he cannot tolerate the loud music.

So, we were late and Tb, Hx and Ws went to book the room first. I received the message from Tb that the room is "Room 1". I was thinking, "Wow, never been in room 1 before. Wonder how is it like?"

When we reached there, a waiter brought us in and we were shocked! The room is 2 and a half times bigger than the normal 4 pax room. There used to be a billard table in the middle of the room but somehow they removed it.

Anyway, we utilised every space of it. We walked around the room while we sing so that we can find the best position. Not forgeting that we went during the K lunch period which was $12 per pax! On top of that, we got a huge room that can fit 36 people or more! Such happiness!

So big right? can dance or do hip hop in the middle.

The cake is from secret recipe, filled with banana chunks inside.

After Kbox, all of them went to my house for dai dee session. Ws and Mk went off half way. We played dai dee until 7pm and we went IMM. Had pepper lunch for dinner.

Walked around IMM looking at watches because Tb wants to buy it. In the end, Sis's husband bought a Alba watch for Sis as birthday present.

After that, birthday girl drove each of us home. What a happy day!

In case you are missing Timothy,

Bye :)

Hurrays!

Lots of good news! First thing first, Paint story board (PSB) has added a new story due to the demand of William Peterus. This episode talks about my school which implement a "reaching-school time system". For those who are careless, they will forget about the new timing system and went to school at the wrong time. William is one of them.

For more hilarious information, click HERE. Look out for the buttercup student that William annoyed and the armpit hair facilitator!

Yesterday played mahjong with my sis, Mk and Hx. Won $5 and that's because I forced Zakia and william to wish me luck.

This coming Sunday will be celebration for my Sis birthday. Her real birthday falls on the 25th May.

Subsequently,

Happy birthday Yuenky (22nd May)
Happy birthday Jinjin (23rd May)
Happy birthday Shiying (23rd May)

Happy birthday Sis (25th May)

I can practically change the happy birthday song to...

*Play happy birthday cassette*

Happy birthday to Yuenky,
Happy birthday to Jinjin,
Happy birthday to Shi ying-ing.
Happy birthday to SIS!

Not forgetting to mention that today is a miserable day. I had coffee in the morning, afternoon milo and these are my meals while I am in school. After school, I did FYP and only had dinner around 7pm.

When me and Teresa is going to Causeway point Banquet to have chicken rice, we saw that the whole banquet was empty. I was observant enough to tell that foods were left on the tables, untouched.

I kpo-ed abit and found out that the level 6 carpark caught on fire. Banquet, sakae and cathay on level 7 had to stop their business and people were evacuated. This explains the left untouched food on the tables when we, the first customers, entered Banquet after the evacuation.

Me and teresa thought about how wasteful it is to leave our food behind just because of evacuation. Imagine you just bought a $8 western food and people ask you to leave the place immediately. We said from our bottom of the hearts that even if there is an explosion behind our back, we will continue eating and even fumes and fire will not stop us from finishing the meal. That's the spirit of CHEAPO GANG! *shout*

Hmm, Sis's husband will be leaving for Paris tomorrow (Saturday). He will go for 1 week first and later 8 months. I think my Sis will be sad and missing him a lot.

Ok, got to go.

Life is full of up and down.

Had the sudden urge of not attending school today but I managed to go through it like a book. Needless to say, it bores me to bed. One second I am smiling to my friend, the other second I am dozing off when the conversation came to an end. I kept yawning till my tears flowed out and my eyes all red.

When the lesson ended, Zakia came to my class and shocked me. She just walked in the class as if it's hers. To me, this is never possible unless I am with another person. Anyway, she gave me the feeling that I am alive again! Thanks, my friend!

After school went to watch "Uninvited" with Teresa and Choosie.

I don't quite get what the movie is talking about but I totally enjoyed the sitting down, eating sushi and sardine puffy feeling.

However, I know the movie is about this girl that has hallucination of her mother that wants to tell her something. But in actual fact, those hallucination are times when she killed her dearest mother, sister and stepmother.

Sometimes I think I have hallucination as well. I keep thinking that people out there are trying to harm me in certain way. I came up with list of reasons why they will harm me and the gains from it.

I also suspect that I have paranoia. Maybe I am having hallucination of having paranoia because just now a facilitor kept looking at me in the library. I was playing an online game and he is directly behind me. You see, at first I had a feeling that someone is looking at me and when I turn around, I saw him looking at me and my laptop. He quickly resumed his net surfing when I caught him.

Then later on I asked Choosie, who was sitting infront of me, to look at the facilitator whether he is still looking at me. I felt the presence of someone looking at me again. Choosie say "No leh, he looks like he is looking at you but he is actually looking downwards into his own laptop."

Pssst.. Hallucination, psst paranoia...

Fake versus Original

Just a question, who will mind carrying fake wallets, accessories, clothes, pants and etc? Hmm... sorry to say but I really don't mind using fake brand watches and shoes as long as they look nice and they are like the authentic ones.

The reason behind the apology above is that I can already feel some people shouting words like "Eeee, so cheapo" or "Must support original!"

I mean, if you can buy something fake that is cheaper and has the same functionality as the original, then which will you choose? Most probably the answer will still be original but that's not the point.

I know brands play an important role in the buyers' power but if I can only afford something cheap and serves me well, then shouldn't I buy that? If my reason for buying something is because of the brand I support, then I can argue that I must buy the original instead.

Besides, what are pasar malam for? How come they can sell fake things so happily? I saw one auntie selling fake teletubbish shirt to the boy's mother. She say until like the shirt is godly and a must buy because of it's soft fabric. This is all nonsense but the mother still buy because the purpose of shirt is to wear. (Actually is because it is cheap, she can buy a lot of it. Children no need wear until so branded one lah.)

However, selling something fake also depends on the customers, whether they are willing to buy it. Customers are clever enough to differentiate whether that item is worth the money. If you sell me some fake junks, you think I will buy the fake and not the original instead?

Perhaps I might be stupid enough to believe for the first time, but don't expect a second occurrence from an "once-kena-cheated" customers because they will remember the lesson. So, a customer can really tell which is worth buy and which is not.

This afternoon, I was watching a channel 8 drama(repeat) and I especially hated this one scene that May Phua acted in. She is those kind of rich tai-tai that spends her husband's(Alan Wu) hard earn money. She was giving a ridiculous answer for buying an expensive handbag. Her answer was that she didn't want her husband to lose face in front of others by carrying a fake handbag (part one)

Part one still can accept but the part two was that they were planning a trip to Europe and the police in Europe will catch anyone that carries fake brand stuff and FINE THEM!

I immediately showed a disgusted look and have been taken aback by it. Then my mother add in chirpily "Got leh, got this country that fine people if they bring fake things into the country." I was in a lost of word state and my jaw dropped like the movie "Jaws".

In disbelief, I went to google and research about it. Although it shows a faint results of the above mentioned, but there is still some truth in it. When one or more people say so, then it should be real.

So anyway, different countries perceived the importance of original differently. It is really up to us to decide about it.

Professionals

Sometimes I really hate "kiasu" aunties that snatch seats on the MRT. Whenever the middle platform train open the door at around 5 to 6pm, all the people rushed in and the passengers that is trying to exit, couldn't exit at all.

Some even "TSK" you for blocking them and obstructing them from getting a seat. There was even one time when I was trying to exit the door and there is this auntie that stepped on my foot. She "TSK-ed" me with a stupid face and I "OI" her back. She just ignored me and went ahead to snatch her seats. Very rude!

But today, I want to applaud an auntie which made me laugh just watching the way she "protected" herself against broken necks.

You see, broken necks are the guy above that always sleeps without having a control over their neck. They can sway from right to left and left to right without knowing that they are causing irritation to others beside them. They only wake up if they accidentally bang their heads on the window or their head touches the one beside them.

Now, I, of course, had similar experience as this auntie but the usual me will just avoid his head and kept a distance away from him. I was sitting opposite to this scene and was happily enjoying the show.

What made me burst out laughing is the way the auntie reacted. She cleverly knocked her shoulder against that guy and she quickly looked to her right, pretending that the MRT had jerked violently to cause the knock.

She did all these in a matter of seconds without thinking or whatsoever. A normal person might have a thought in their mind that if the guy came nearer once more, then I will take precaution against it. But this auntie is really amazing! She is like a professional that had this scenario a million times to react so quickly!

I really applaud her.

Nuisance.

I was reading Wendy's blog and remembered a case similar to hers which I felt I must write it down. If I don't write it down, I cannot sleep in peace!

Listen up!

It was a sunny day. (pretend) I went to my grandma's house to study. It was very near to exam period and one of my friend lived very near to my grandma's house and I decided to meet him up and study together.

Since it was early, I decided to stay at my grandma's house until he reaches and then I go down and meet him. I thought I won't be staying long and I left my shoes outside the house. For your information, it was a puma limited edition army print shoes.

When my friend called me to inform me that he reached, I went to the door and get my shoes. To my horror, it was not there anymore! I left it there a few minutes ago.

I let my imagination run wild to come up with the most ridiculous ideas about how the shoes can go missing on it's own. Some ideas that got me hooked are that the shoes got blown away by mysterious winds or I didn't wear any shoes in the first place.

I begin to suspect that it must be the neighbours who had stolen it. On the right is Malay family and their children are very noisy. They keep shouting 24/7 and they always play at the corridors. They must have kick my shoes into their house and kept it away from me.

Can you imagine one day when you want to go out and you cannot find your shoes? Some more I had to borrow a pair of slippers and they are of flowery kind. The slippers are too small for my feet and the strap is like going to explode!

Amazingly, they kind of know I am not living there. Why do I say so? Because the next week when I go to my grandma's house again, I saw my puma limited edition army print shoes on the steps of stairs outside their house.

The shoes was placed nicely and there's a pair of socks in them which does not belong to me. I stared at it with anger and the shoes almost caught on fire. I stomped towards the shoes and grab it back while murmuring vulgarities all along.

I put the "taken-back" shoes outside my grandma's house and don't bother to close the door. I sat very near to the door and kept looking at it. After like half an hour, I heard the door of the Malay family opened. I adjusted myself quickly and sat up straight to have a better view of my shoes.

I heard a scream of "DSJFJDSfdfnkjeednaskd" in Malay. I cannot understand Malay but I figured it out anyway. He must be saying "where's MY shoes". Then I saw a teenager guy walked past the door while attempting to get the shoes back.

I STARED AT HIM WITH THE BIGGEST EYES until my eyes hurts. He must have been shocked as he is guilty and my eyes is that scary, he ran back to his house.

To this date, I am still wearing that shoes and it is a comfortable one. I cannot imagine myself losing that pair of limited edition shoes to someone like him.

Calling police is not going to solve this problem. You need to do it back to him like how he deserves it.

p/s: I can imagine Wendy throwing her neighbour's dustpan.

Irritant

That day I was coming down from the stairs of the overhead bridge, an Indian man was in front of me walking at a very slow, relax way. He must have noticed me because he turned back and looked at me. After he seen me, he attempted to walk down the stairs at a faster speed.

I was thinking "Sure, this man must be in a rush to overtake me, afraid that I will be blocking his way instead." And so, this man is ahead of me by let's say 5 steps?

He then changed his speed back to the normal pace when he reaches the ground. My usual pace is faster than his by 2 times and within seconds, I tried to overtake him again.

To my horror, he looked at me like as if I was going to rob his money what. He walked even faster than before but it was of no difference. The pavement is narrow but he walked in the middle like as if anyone as thin as me can overtake him by the sides.

I was no longer tolerable of him and his "I-want-to-rob-your-money" face that I decided to overtake him by the sides. With a swift motion, his curly-wurly hair flew a bit, and I got past him and smile to myself. I DID IT!

I especially don't like this kind of people that keep blocking me. I remembered this one time when I was running the 2.4km test thingy. This guy keep running faster and faster whenever he see me overtaking him. When he is at a safe distance from me, HE WALK! (How dare him!)

Where got people adopt this kind of strategy one? He think I am a meter or something that gauge his stamina? Totally play cheat one lor. Make me lose my stamina by chasing after him!

Anyway, Mas selamat got caught! *open champagne*

It can finally bring a rest to all of us. Him, running loose in the wild is like an irritant to us! But we know that we cannot let our guards down. We should be vigilant at all times.

Take a break, take a toilet break!

Today

My day ended with a 3 round mahjong game with family members like my mum, sis and her husband. I lost $14 and I know I am super suay the whole time. My mum was the one that won tonight and I calculated it to be about $40 although she refused to say.

Halfway through the game, we were extremely hungry and obviously no one wanted to go down and buy food. My mum didn't cook anything as she self declared off day. She said that it is still labour day. We ordered pizza hut delivery.

Morning time was playing Ether Saga Online the whole time. It is the game that I am into recently. Story line of the game is like journey to the west and it is developed by China I guess. It's kind of rare since good games are usually developed by Korean and Japanese.

In case you are interested in Ether Saga Online, you can join me by clicking HERE

Saturday, 2 May

Stayed home the entire day to slack. I was also frantically looking for my thermometer. I remembered I bought like dozens of them? but they were nowhere to be found.

The reason for finding thermometer is because every students need to bring it to school on Monday for temperature taking. The school will not be selling it and I foresee that lots of people will forget to bring thermometer. Looks like swine flu will be something to be reckon with.

UPDATED*

Ok, from now on, I will correct anyone who says swine flu and give them the proper term to use like; Influenza A comma H1N1 infection. whatever~

Friday, 1st May (Labour day)

Went City vibe with Tb, Mk, Hx and Ws. Played Left 4 dead and DotA then dinner and home. Was feeling very happy by the time I got home because it is only Friday. That means I have saturday and sunday when this particular friday felt like weekend for me.

Played with Timothy and as usual, he was very cheeky. He kept smiling at me for no reasons and this is the part I am afraid of.

He is afraid of this toy.

But it looked like him!

And I know why he is smiling at me.

This must be the reason!
