Saturday, 27 JunIn lieu of BBQ at West coast park, we changed to Sakura at Science centre. The people that went include me, my 2 sisters, sis's husband, Timothy, my mum, aunt, cousin jiayi, Ws, Hx and Tb. The main reason is to celebrate Tb's birthday by gathering lots of people so that the whole event will not be too quiet. This is the first time I experienced eating buffet with so many people altogether.
Although BBQ might be more fun in terms of barbecuing your own food but eating buffet is definitely a much more comfortable thing.
You know the usuals? Always start the buffet with loads of sashimi because Sakura is the best buffet place that have unlimited flow of sashimi. Besides, its more worth it if you eat Sashimi in Sakura. Otherwise, you can go other buffet places because the stuff is usually the same anyway.
Another favourite! Grill salmon with Ahjipalia sauce. This time, each salmon pieces is thicker and juicer. I wonder why is that so? Maybe this is the period where the salmon-catching is at its optimum?
My sis secretly took a photo of us eating greedily and just nice my mum's hand blocked my whole face!
Subsequently, my mum's hand attempt to block me again but I managed to siam just in time!
What about Timothy? He's busy picking up different flavours of pudding to play with. At times, he stuff his "Doraemon's favourite food" into the cup.
This is doraemon favourite foodWe then came up with this myth that whenever someone drinks from a cup that has the dough or pancakes smell, it means that, that cup is the one that is used by Timothy! How disturbing!
Anyway, by the time we are all very full that our stomach almost burst, we left the place
stealing "Ta bao-ing" 7 puddings or so... They all came to my house and play Dai dee till 3am and then my sis drove them home.
Tuesday, 23 JunFor those that had watched Transformers must be awaiting for Transformers 2. So much so that it came out on Tuesday, all the die hard fans flocked to the cinemas in all parts of Singapore to watch the robot's movie.
For me, I didn't watch Transformer and hence I didn't know what to expect for this movie except that it is full of good reviews. However, the hardcore fans didn't mind the extra dollars for sneak previews when the actual released date is just the next day. Can't they wake for the next day for normal price?
Hmm, I wasn't the "fans" but because I didn't want to lose out to the others, I watched the sneak preview at West Mall which cost 8 dollar per ticket. I think the movie worth my 8 dollar because it is actually quite good. In fact, it is better than Terminator Salvation.
Read from some
source that the beautiful Megan Fox in Transformers 2 is actually a man. My sis and I are looking out on whether she have an adam's apple throughout the movie and conclude that sometimes she have it and sometimes she don't have it! The idea is that maybe she use a hammer to crush it?
Wednesday, 24 JunWent to look at my sis's new flat and it is actually quite near to Jurong point. Then after that went to Pizza hut with Hx and sis.
This just give me the idea for tomorrow's bbq! *tink*

After Pizza hut, we went to arcade and walk around. We saw this machine in X zone which is called "Push sweets machine". The name of this machine is by yours truly.
The objective of the game is to scope the sweets and pour it onto the staggering platform that keep moving. The idea is to allow the sweets to drop and HIT a checker that is located near the platform. Once the sweet hits the checker, a meter will spin and update red thing in the picture above. Once that red thing is full bar, you will win the grand prize.
AND WE DID WIN THE GRAND PRIZE!!!
Not going to tell how much we spent on the push sweets machine to get this prize but I can say that this prize that we won with our determination will be a gift to Tb aka Jinhong for his birthday present!

So we didn't go to school as promised because it will be a day off the hectic schedule. Besides, who goes to school on birthday?
Anyway, I went to Kbox with Tb and Ws. Then after that was Bugis street. When all else fails, we arranged a Dai dee session at my house for a gambling show down!
Dian Xiao Er
Yesterday, we were in for a treat. We went to Dian Xiao Er for a sumptuous meal. I thought my sis won the lottery or something and decides to treat us but no! She even lost $300+ in mahjong and I didn't know this before hand.
Cod fish w/ soyDon't be fooled by its appearance. This cod fish fulfilled the idea of outer crispy, inner juicy. When I bite off the "biscuit-like" fried fish skin, a watery kind of juice flowed out and that is when I know it is not water but fish meat! Yes, its that soft!
I refused to give the one star because it is too little. I only eat 1 tiny piece out of the whole to give my comment. And whats with the huge garlic?
Ginseng DuckOne of the successive factor that made Dian Xiao Er proud, along with the other herbal ducks. I especially love the skin and the sauce.
I give 3 stars for this dish because I don't like duck's bone. The meat of the duck always stick to the bone tightly and makes eating difficult. They should removed the bones for easier eating especially those that like to dip the sauce with the meat.
Imagine picking up a very bony piece and you dip the sauce to go along with it. When you start to bite on the meat, all the sauce spurt out from the other end and there goes your delicious sauce! Wastage!
Shark's Fin Conpoy
Straight away 5 stars, no need to think so much. Even Timothy stops doing all his things and gives his attention to this marvellous pot. Accompanied with big sized crab meat, this dish is a must try.

Superior Abalone
I love the sauce. I simply put the whole abalone into my mouth and keep biting it for 5 minutes?
The reason for 4 stars is that they should cut it into smaller pieces. Luckily I have a big mouth that can contained the whole thing. As for broccoli, not good because it can be found in the next dish. They should be using another kind of vegetable like asparagus.
Broccoli + Scallop + PeasI actually love this dish very much. As in all the things inside this dish is what I like. I think the chef is crafting this dish especially for me because he or she know my favourites. The peas is very crunchy and succulent! (Wow I managed to use this word "succulent". I've been waiting for this right moment!)
A bit "tasteless" and is considered common except for the scallop part.
P/s: Chef, please do accidentally add in more scallops. Don't follow the rules of 4 scallops, 4 pax. Its not nice counting in the kitchen, be generous!
Sea cucumber + MushroomDon't like sea cucumber but when I heard that it is good for body, I quickly dumped 3 into my mouth. Read from Wiki that it has healing effects using fatty acids to tissue repair.
Peas were found again. Repetitive. Also, my mum bit on one black pepper grain and it taste horrible. They should removed the black pepper seed or whatever. My sis's husband also commented that this dish is mainly black pepper taste, perhaps they should reduced in black pepper...
The desserts were bolied hashima with red dates and lotus seed.
Smell bitter and when you put it in your mouth, you must faster swallow it before the bitterness hit you. Not very nice in my opinion but then again, it has its nutrition value and I can't be bothered to google it because I want to sleep now!
Usually things that are bitter is good. I finished every single drop of it as it is very good lah.
Timothy, save me!!
I am feeling worried and stress now but it seemed like there's no one there to be my listening ears. I am reluctant to say out my worries fearing that others will think that I am just asking for sympathy. The usual one person which I often approach is my sister but she seemed like having a bigger load than me, making my own problem compared to hers appear smaller.
Timothy is sleeping soundly right now. My greatest wish is to see him awake with a smile so sweet to melt my heart. Even if he didn't smile, his watery dew-like eyes will give me a sense of hope that everything is okay. There's nothing to worry about. Really.
Looking at this picture taken yesterday,
I recalled the scenario that happened at "Sheng Siong". Before that, we were at Ikea buying chairs, tibits and food. The tibits were mainly bought for Timothy and when we reached Sheng Siong, Timothy picked up a "YanYan" because he had eaten it before
He wanted to eat it but the item had not been purchased hence we cannot open it. But my sis and mum open it up for Timothy. I was shocked!
Ok, here's Timothy with the yanyan biscuit, holding it so elegantly like a straw. He merely ate a stick or two out of the whole. He licked the cream away refusing to bite the biscuit. Sometimes when I looked at him, all my worries are gone.
A lot to sayHaven't been updating my blog for the longest time and this is because of the stupid connection that have been causing me lots of problem. Now, I am holding onto the wires while I type, hoping that the LAN wire will not give up on me. In these days, who still uses wired connection? ME!
Anyway, let me introduce something called "cross stitch" to you. Not Lilo and stitch but CROSS stitch! In laymen term, it means stitching using a needle in a cross way to form a picture. Say easier than done, it requires hard work and determination to complete even a 10*10 grid!

My sis didn't go because she was scare of this kind of movie genre. Boo to her. However, the movie turns out to be "scary movie" kind of humour whenever Mrs ganish banged her false teeth out of her mouth.
Her "refused-to-die" attitude gave me the idea that this movie should change its title to "One hell of a bugger". Despite stapling her face and kicking her with high heels, she can still carry a huge rock to break a car window. The only thing that puzzled me is how she got into a car?
However, I must say that some of the scenes scare me. The sound effect and volume gave me a jump whenever something pop out.

Some time ago, when I was returning home on my sis's car, I witnessed a car crash. I didn't witnessed the whole process but the aftermath of the incident. I quickly took out my handphone to take pictures. We quickly buy 4D but didn't win :(
The front part shattered into pieces. Poor thing. Most probably the black coloured car is going to pay the white car's back boot repair fee and his own fronts.

On Monday, left school halfway to watch movie at Vivo. Land of the lost
Called Hx along. Tb didn't go because he go back for reservist. I know it is very "sian" for him because that Monday was his start of holiday but I guess one week will be over soon! That Monday was also my first day of school and I immediately skipped it. Monday blues, blame who? (wow! rhyme)
Land of the lost is a funny show but has no story line at all. Things can happen anyhow they like it. Sitting beside us is a bunch of children and they keep laughing crazily. My sis threw a peanut sideway, hitting a kid that keep laughing "anyhowing-ly". That peanut stops his laughing and he ran to his mother, crying. GAGAGAAG!

Sometimes when no one is around to look after Timothy and my sis had to drive from one place to another. This is how she do it...
Timothy is just so adorable when
HE IS ASLEEP!Just like today, my aunt came over to my house and help look after Timothy because my sis and mum had to go to work while my sis's maid had just returned to her own country. It was a tiring day for my aunt and me because Timothy only want his mum. Bathing resulted in water all over us because he refused to bath. Sleeping was his only adorable side because he kept crying for his mum!
Another adorable moment is when he is sitting in the machine car of shopping center.
We were so careless that we forget to bring Timothy's shorts out! His bottom was pampers!

Lastly, this coming Sunday(21st Jun) will be flea market at sunset way. I will be bringing some of my stuffs to sell there! So fun!
Pizza and steamboat.Yesterday went to Tb's house for Canadian pizza delivery! He had this survey job that required him to dine in Canadian pizza or have it delivered to his door step. Of course he chose the deliver to door step! After trying it, he just have to fill up the survey and that's all. Easy and Shiok!
As this was my virgin try at Canadian pizza, I wondered what will be nice. I took a look at the menu that Tb sent me through Msn, I straight away saw smoked salmon and kept telling myself that I must have this.
This is what Tb ordered: BBQ CHICKEN BONANZA
Ingredient: Tender Chicken Breast, Special BBQ Sauce, Onions, Capsicum, Fresh Tomatoes.
This is the Smoked salmon:
Smoked Salmon, Onions, Capsicum, Herbs and Black Olives
Note: I heard that Olives are expensive ingredient so no matter how tasteless it is, I must not waste a bit of it.
Nuggets and wedges.
In my opinion, I think Canadian pizza as compared to Pizza hut is a tad too healthy for a pizza. Both CP and PH are generous with the ingredients but Pizza hut's ingredients definitely taste tastier than Canadian Pizza.
Another thing to compare would be the selection of flavours. I like Canadian pizza in a way that they offers many different types of pizza like smoked salmon, atlantis and Singapura special. However, Pizza hut wins it back by having the stuff crust under it's sleeves.
Prices and offers wise, Canadian pizza is always 2 for the price 1 pizza while pizza hut is during promotion time. For example now, Pizza hut have this promotion at 2 pizza for $20. For your information, Canadian's regular pizza is priced at $21.90.
After that, my sis came to Tb's house. She drove us to fetch my mum and Timothy. Then me, Tb, sis and husband went for Steamboat at night.
The soup base was chicken and "pai gu" something. We didn't order any spicy base because sis's husband warned us that the spicy base soup is too spicy (China's Ma La style). My sis commented that the spicy soup has no spicy taste but your lips will be paralysed by it and your mouth will have no feeling. The next day will be a lost of voice.
Threw in all the ingredients and there's even flower crab. However, I didn't see any prawns. Water was free flow and it cost $15 per pax. No GST or whatsoever.
Wanted to watch movie afterwards but it was 10pm and we stinks from the steamboat.

This will be the CD that I will be paying attention to. Really love the tracks no. 2 (Yuan Wu Qu), 5 (Bai Qi) and 8 (Ming Zhi Gu Fan) of the album. Whenever the song is being played, I listened carefully to it's lyrics and it evokes a certain feeling that is comfortable. It's like all my worries are all gone.
Right now, typing this entry, I am listening to this CD. I love the attitude, singing style and composing talent that she presented in the CD. Usually it's really hard to convince me to buy a CD unless it is from Stefanie Sun. But this CD definitely give me the urge to buy it right away because I had been waiting for it!
The other day, Timothy was eating his Lollipop that he chosen from a store and I straight love his last finger while holding his lolli.
When it comes to eating, he has his way.

Monday, 8 JunWent to Kbox with Ws, Tb and Sis. Had a marvellous singing session because there is new people which means new songs being sang! They all dished out their representative song that they were good at to impress each other. We all sang our hearts out and felt that today's session is definitely a worth one.
After that, went to Vivo city to catch a movie. Ws went home and Hx joined in. The movie that we watched is Terminator salvation.
I must say I never like Robots from Transformers but I surely love Terminator Salvation! Someone kept telling me Terminator Salvation isn't nice and thankfully I watched it nevertheless. Sometimes, I shouldn't listen to other people's reviews or else I will miss out a show that is good.
I guess everyone had their own opinion and that is not up to me to judge it. Just like you, reading my reviews and not being convinced by it! BOO!
Monday, 1st JunWow! I suffered from amnesia because I couldn't remember what I did on this day. This shouldn't be my usual self as I usually remember every single detail. However, I think it's not amnesia. It is short term memory because I suddenly remembered and I must faster type before I forget again.
Meet up with Youngly and William for morning zombies killing!(L4D) Promotion at city vibe LAN shop came to an end as the June holiday had just started! Boo!
However, the Long John Silver had this promotion that fits my little appetite for Monday blues morning. It is just 3 dollar and you get a sandwich plus fresh orange juice to go along.
Hx came around noon to join us in killing zombies. In the end, we completed "No mercy" advanced mode and we went on to play Dota while Youngly left us to woo a girl, according to his best friend, William.
After that, me and Hx went to Tb's house for further Dota session using his desktop and laptop. Dinner was Congee at Pioneer mall.
Tuesday, 2nd JunWent to Jurong East Library for FYP. Meet up with Choosie and Teresa. At last, Teresa was on time. This had never happen before! I was shocked until a drop of tear fell out from the corner of my eye.
Finding place in the library had never been easy before. However, we were lucky that day as we can find a lane that we can sit side by side each other. Electrical sockets were nearby and there were glass panels to lean on. The only bad things is that many people will walk past us and look down at us like beggars.
Wednesday, 3rd JunSis came to fetch me around noon time. Then we went over to fetch Hx from his house. The place that we decide to go will be Vivo city because we will be catching a movie there.
Went to LJS for lunch after we had purchase the movie tickets. Went to this art shop located at Level 3 and was fascinated by these "iron-on prints". Each of us bought a few and decided to iron the images on our polo tees.
^Saw this weird looking fish.
^I love sea creatures! Especially starfish. I heard that if you cut away their hands which is equivalent to the 5 angles, they will each grow into a new starfish as it can manipulate it's cells very fast!
We are unsure about which movie to watch and so we all gave our opinions and comments on different movies and decided on...
Angels and DemonsThe beginning part was boring because I do not understand what they were saying. The fun and interesting part came around when the first person died with soil in the mouth, thrown down from air, burn by fire and lastly, almost drown in water. It involves elements and that is something that interest me. Don't get me wrong, I am not interested by how they died :)
There is also one part about the explosion in the sky that gave me an impact. At first, the bomb exploded with a blast of fire and I say "Chey, like that only". After a few seconds, the fire blast became a gigantic burst of blue coloured nuclear energy and that shocked me because the effect was really great. I almost got blown away from my seat because it was so real!
After the movie, Sis drove us home and that ends the day.
Thursday, 4th Jun Went back to school for FYP meeting with Teresa, Choosie and Advisor. Was intending to accompany Ws to buy some things but was being held up in school. Our advisor were not very pleased about our performance as it was too slow. He gave us a challenge and this only means work, work and more work during this holiday!
After that, went to clementi to meet up with Tb, Mk and Ws. Mk was busy teaching Tb how to cycle and at last, he finally learned it. Although still a bit unsure and shaky but at least he is able to cycle from the start to the end of the void deck.
