What to do with $50...

Wow! I am super bloated and tired from today's fun. Let me be the host of the day and show you what you can do with a $50 note and have so much fun. (you can get back some change from the $50 though...)

First, you need to find some friends of course. So, Tb, Mk and me met at JE, 1pm. We accompanied Mk to deposit some money and we are off to Aston's. I ordered Teriyaki chicken set that includes two side dishes. The price was $5.90 but let's not include the Bandung drink.

After eating, we don't know where to go but we saw science center as the nearest destination and hence we decided to go there. We don't usually go there but it was excited at the thought of it.

We reached the ticket counter and saw the package's price on the board. The package with Omni-theatre and science center was $12.80 only and we bought it immediately. We thought it was quite a good deal and go in with an happy mindset.

As we were about to go in, we saw Miss Goh, our maths teacher in secondary school. She was a good teacher that made us loves maths and most of us scored 80-90 marks because of her. And yes!, she asked us why are we so free and can still goes to science center. Haha, the scene was really funny la!

Inside science center...

Green lighting

Purple lighting

Red lighting

This is the shocking chair whereby you need to insert coins and the person who sat on the chair will get a shocking feeling. However, it was out of order...

Science center suddenly become underwater world?

Look at the beautiful Starfish!

Remove "cockroach can grow up to 5 cm and" and reads the rest of the sentences as a whole.

Okok... we are not interested in what you say!

Ok, this time round, science center have a theme of Dinosaur again. The theme is called "Dinosaurs Alive". It's also the name of the IMAX movie that we will be watching later. Hence we decided to have a look at their Dino's exhibition.

I don't know the names of all these creatures that once roam the Earth. One thing for sure, most of them end with ...Saurs.

We stood infront of this special mirror that can make people appears smaller in size. We look like midgets now and sorry for the unclear picture. There was a strong reflection of light at the back.

And so it was time to enter the Omni-theatre. We are to arrive 10 minutes before the show as it was a free siting one. Photo taking is not allowed but I took it before they say it. It can also cause dizziness and we are advised to close our eyes if we were to feel dizzy.

NO WAY MAN! If close eyes, waste money!

Anyway, I felt that it wasn't a waste of money as it was really nice to watch. The screen was huge and it is surrounding you. I remembered the last time I watched it was at Primary 3 whereby we had an excursion.

After watching IMAX, we had an crazy idea of taking jumping photo shots. Mk is the one that brought up the idea and I was the one who initiate it. Tb was totally volunteering for the camera man.

photo taken by me. First try and I easily caught Mk jumping...

photo taken by Tb. second time though but it was so easy. We felt that it was not enough. So we forced Tb to take it too!

He was totally better than us in terms of jumps la~

Then we try the 3 persons jump shots. We spend about 10 minutes testing and gauging the time to jump. It was not so easy when more people try to do it. We were sweating like hell.

Please pardon me for the crazy jumps. I was the one who had to run around to set the timer and the countings. They just had to jump when I asked them to. So I need to be very fast to run back and fro. I almost fall down in most of the pictures...

After photo taking, we roam around science center and slack till it closes.

For dinner, we went to JP to have Sakura dinner buffet. It was $25++ and the food ranges in many types. From Sashimi to western food, Dim sum to satay and many many more. I like the ice cream and cakes part as well but I prefer to have it at last.

My favourite salmon...

We couldn't finish this plate of chicken wings as Tb took too much and we were thinking of ways to eliminate it. Some were wrapped in tissues and others were thrown over to other people's table when they leaves...

This sign was put in every table to remind us not to waste food... However, it hides something sinister...

The hidden, small texts of wastage prices.

That's all for today. Rushing for Dota!
