A Short entry as of 29 March

Today's entry will be a very short one. I am dead beat by now and my legs is like jelly. Partly due to the fact that I went alot of places and put the fliers on SUV cars.

Above are the five places that I went within the six hours. Actually it should be four places since Vivo and Harbour Front is like the same place.

Luckily, Lilian auntie's bro was kind enough to drive us to all these places and we do not need to take the MRT or buses.

I think we spent the most time at Vivo and Harbour front. The most interesting places of all is Kallang because there were a small meeting there. The meeting is about all the owners of mini sport cars. They meet at a carpark and all their mini sport cars were park side by side. The owners were all showing off their precious little thing. I bet those cars don't come cheap at all.

Tomorrow will be going IMM, Jurong Point, Causeway point and maybe north point. I think I master the skill of glancing at a car and know whether to put the fliers or not. Haha, actually I think I bluff it through. If not HOW TO COMPLETE 5000 PIECES OF FLIERS?

But jokes aside, I am still doing a great job by double checking the names of the car. The most common are Rush, RX300 and CR-V. These are the ones that are confusing and needs me to go to their behinds to check out their brands. These cars are neither too huge or small. It's in the middle and so I often need to check it out.

These are the amounts of fliers for tomorrow. If everything goes well, I hope to finish it. Trust me, it's not alot. Probably about 250 pieces. But after calculating how much we had put the fliers for today, it seems like 250 pieces is quite alot. SUV cars are like 1:10 to cars.

Side notes

Seriously, I am not looking forward to school reopening. It's especially so after I look at my new classmate's photos at www.yandao.com Not that I very handsome or what. But the feeling of knowing friends all over again just SUCKs! I am bad at making friends because I am not easy-going types. It's like you finally get used to your clique and soon you are forced to know new friends. I don't like it no matter what but life is all about all these kinds of difficulties.

PS: I am not going emo here by saying life is so "hfkhafag" or "dksfdhasfkas". I am just "fdfgdfhgdfh" and "gfdshgfsh". I hope for fgfdshgs and fdhgsdfg and not gfdsfgfd.

SPH- Singapore Press Holdings

Met Lilian auntie at Chua chu kang platform. Took MRT to Bradell and went to Singapore press holdings. In case you have no idea what is singapore press holdings, it is a place that publishes 14 types of newspapers like "The Straits Time", "Lianhe wanbao", "Berita Harian", "Tamil Murasu" and etc.

Basically all the newspapers that you can find in Singapore is printed there. If you think printing newspapers is already making them so busy, wait till you hear that they also publishes more than 100 magazines that cater to every age group.

Yes, you've guess it right. The building of the SPH was huge and I think this word is not enough. I must say "gigantic" and it feels quite acceptable.

Anyway, besides the majestic place, We met a lady who was supposed to be the one briefing us. She was from the "the new paper" if I am not wrong. The event that is stated on the fliers itself was organised by "the new paper" so I got to be right. The fliers is about a challenge called "SUVival challenge".

Ya, this is the fliers that we are supposed to put it on people's car. Not just any cars, but SUV cars! What is SUV cars you might ask. SUV refers to Sport Utility Vehicle. Later will show you how does a SUV car look like. I am sure after this thingy is over, I will be able to tell which is a SUV car at a glance.

Anyway, the Lady from "the new paper" I presumed, was to brief us about how are we going to put the fliers. She was so critical to even mentioned the position like we were kids that don't know ABC. She say we must put it vertical and not the other way round. I rolled my eyes.

The briefing ended swiftly like how it started. Never mind, at least get a free T-shirt with the "the new paper" logo on it. We are supposed to wear it when we were putting the fliers on people's car. She said that we are somehow representing the "the new paper".

This is the inside of the fliers. In case the picture is too small, the 1st prize is $3000 cash & $500 SPC Petrol Voucher. I am not even mentioning the rest. You should know how "good" the 2nd and 3rd prize will be. Anyway, this prizes is most certainly for those SUV drivers.

This is the list that shows all the SUV cars that we can put the fliers on. My favourite and only known "KIA" is on the list! So exciting la!!! It's like you randomly say something of a sophisticated level and you had no idea what it is and predicted it right!

They were also kind enough to print several examples of SUV cars. Basically SUV, in my terms, is like those family cars whereby it can carries 4-6 people. You can put a bicycle on top of the car and usually used it for camping trips or fishing. The back will coincidentally have a spare tyre that acts like a design if the driver doesn't know how to change a tyre. How trendy.

I think I basically have a rough idea what is a SUV car. Once I saw it, I know it. Although I don't like cars or look into them, my favourite car types would be the SUV cars. It's so spacious and looks like a beetle, who will not like it?

Tomorrow will be going Vivo's sheltered car parks. Then to Taka's and lastly to kallang. Will be quite a busy and leg-tiring day I supposed. Hope I don't mess up.

Super Duper Suay-ness

Who can be more suay than me?

Today, after going zoom with hx and zy, I took 143 to Jurong East Interchange. I sort of feel my stomach twisting and popping. (Don't know how to explain the feeling) I think I couldn't make it to Jurong East interchange and decided to get off around Jurong town hall road. I was deciding to change bus to 333 and go home to do my business.

To my horror, the bus just left. Then suddenly, the feeling no more. I thought I was fine and decided to wait for the bus. Then the feeling came again. This time, it's more intense. I knew I couldn't make it home. I quickly run towards Chevron from Jurong town hall road. (like 7 mins walk)

As I was running, the a** region seems to be more heavy with each big steps. And what make it worse is that the bus 333 came and I missed it again! I swear I scolded vulgarities to myself aloud and continued running. When I reached there, I was saved!

I used up all the toilet paper and walked home...

OMG OMG OMG! LOL at the SUPER HIGH PITCH so bu leh laaaaaa~

Briefing...

Will be going to a briefing tomorrow at bradell with Lilian auntie. It's for the job that I will be working in for the next few days. The job is about putting fliers on the cars in the car park. Does it even need a briefing for something as easy as that?

But I heard from Lilian auntie that we can only put the papers on selected cars only. For example...

THIS!!!

In your dreams. You think easy to find this kind of cars in multi storey car park? They will be too afraid to even park it there because there will certainly be itchy-handed people who will take out a 50 cent coin to scratch and leave a mark on it. How I know? I just know la...

Actually, it need not be those expensive cars then we can put the fliers on. But certainly not the one below la...

So retro~ Must be those "ah peks" in 60s drive one la. I think the acceptable car brands are Mercedes, Honda, Jaguars, Chevolet and KIA. (Sorry, I just know these car brands) I know it's very little compared to those car lovers who could easily recite the names of the car's brand for like 100 times?

I had to laugh at KIA for a moment. Wait! Don't scold me for laughing at KIA. Let me explain. I am not laughing at KIA's cars but I am laughing at the name. In fact, KIA's cars are small and cute and it certainly fits the name.

Definitely NOT THIS,

Where can you find this type of car? How to put the fliers? It doesn't even have the wipe car's screen thingy. How to "kyam" the paper, you tell me? And why need so many spare tyres at the side? The two wheels in front are like slanted inwards.

Aiya, hope that we can put the fliers on any cars and this job will be easier. It's just a few piece of papers and don't need to cut cost until like that.

Part 2 of Sakae sushi buffet

Photos by mk...

Multi task: Chatting with friends while eyes on the belt, aiming for sashimi sushi.

This is really nice!!! Like dumplings, piping hot.

Forced to eat the jj's proclaimed "best-in-the-world" sushi.

She gets to try her own medicine

The birthday boy, MONKEY!

The Elephant!

haha, of course these photos were taken after we are so full. We sort of forced ourselves to eat the sushi. We played with it and also play with the soya sauce. Was fun though.

Sakae Sushi Buffet!

Meet hx and mk at Jurong East platform. I was late by ten minutes but it is not totally my fault. The bus just don't come and besides I need to call people. We took MRT and met jj at west mall entrance. We proceed to West mall Sakae sushi.

It's sort of like a small celebration for mk's birthday. And nothing beats eating a buffet!

First of all, prices most important. Food don't have legs, it won't run away.

Adult: $16.90++
Student: $13.90++
Child: $10.90++

Very reasonable prices. I like! We didn't waste a single minute. Once we sit down, we take the wooden chopsticks, plates, soya sauce and wasabi. The book we sweep it away because we won't need it so soon. Then we begin our rampage-taking of coloured plates. Making sure that we do not take the bright red ones.

Haha, We are typical Singaporeans mah. We aim for the salmon sashimi first. If don't have, we take those sotongs or squids type. We easily finished 20-30 plates within half an hour? We were happily eating and didn't notice the time and number of plates. The waiter keep clearing our plates from our tables for like 4 to 5 times. With each clearing of about 10 plates or so.

We wanted to take pictures of how many plates we took but the waiters were quick to take it away right after it gets full and stacked up.

Also, there were lots of students in uniforms. Don't know which schools they are from but they all keep aiming for those sashimi types. Luckily, the belt rotates in such a way that we get the sushi first before them. We swept all of them and left none for them. MUAHAHAHAHA

It's like they aim for it from a far distance and the four of us took the 4 plates away from the belt. So swift and CHIO LA!!! (The chef should separate the plates but in this case, we tan tio)

We were calculating that since we are going to pay $13.90++, we must eat about 7 plates to be equivalent with what we pay. But if you are to include 7% G.S.T and 10% service charge, it will be $17++. Cannot! Die die also must eat 9 plates or more.

I think we eat more than 9 plates and that is all it matters. I purposely starve myself by not eating breakfast just for this Buffet. Now it's pay back time! (Prepare for troubles and make it double. (Adapted from: Pokemon Jessy and James))

Words make people bored and so it's time for photos! I even came up with a short story.

Ok first of all, this is jj in a VERY very unglam shot. The real photo shows her very "ji dong" after knowing that her photo is taken. And what is wrong with eating such a big bowl of ramen or udon during buffet time? I told her 100 times that we shouldn't take foods that will filled up the stomach and this is the example. She even finish it, clean!!

Next, is the most ordinary sushi in the world. I really don't know what is so good about this sushi when you compare it with the sashimi and sotong ones. If you choose those vege jelly or peas ones, I will salute you for your bravery but definitely not THIS! And worst of all, jj ate 3 plates!

3 plates * 6 pieces = 18 pieces !!!!!!!!

For your information, it's crab meat and nothing else. I ask her eat the cucumber or the scrambled egg ones, she reject!

Then we were very curious about the "sushi" that jj claims to be the best in the world. We took a plate and share it among the 3 of us. (me, mk and hx) LOL

Wait, let me go and laugh until mad first.

Minutes later...

Ok, I am back.

Look at the "no expression" on mk's face. Seriously, we were laughing like "shen jing bing" and the hand that kept blocking mk's face belongs to jj. I also had a similar photo of me tasting the best-sushi-in-the-world but it is with mk. I will upload it soon.

Ok la, The End. Don't torture jj le.

Shutter

Next we went to bought the movie tickets for "Shutter". Not scary at all and it has only two popping out scenes, which I presume more. Below is the poster for the movie.

As you can see, the face is made up of photographs and these photographs are not your usual ones. Each photographs has a spirit or ghost shown or captured on it. That is basically the whole story. I had watch the Thai version one that is featured a few years ago. There were some differences but I think the Thai version of shutter is better.

If you don't know what I am talking about, please click here

I know you all won't be bothered to click and so I took out an example.

Something like that. It's like the spirits or ghosts wants to be in the picture. They will block your face or be standing at the background. One thing to be sure, they want to tell something or prove something.

I leave you with one paranormal photo that was taken at the sakae sushi just now.

Shh... don't tell mk...

Vegetables and Fruits to good use

Wow I am really amazed at those pictures that I am going to show! I hope I can do something like that too! The chefs uses vegetables and fruits to make them into animals and they really look like the real thing! Let's take a break and look at how the creative peoples' art work.

The center one certainly look like a goldfish to me. The leaves of the vegetable looks like the fins of the goldfish. Good choice of vegetable to bring out the "life" of it.

Eggplant, Aubergine or Brinjal. Whatever you call it. My favourite when you cook it with chilli. But here it is, making it into cute little penguins. The Eggplant should be purple but maybe the picture's one are rotten and so it turns black. But nevermind, this way it looks like a penguin more!

Baa Baa black sheep have you any wool? This is really the best choice for sheeps!

Now lemons. Totally like the nose of it. I like the 2nd one from the left, most!

Who cannot spell the differences between these two vegetables or roots within boy or girl? It's so obvious!!!

Now, this one requires close observation. one of the ant is missing a pair of feelers!

All their faces tell a tale. I like the green, yellow and red pepper thingy because their mouth is naturally formed.

Wah! like that also can? How they stick the mouth part to the honey dew? (Is it honey dew?)

Do you still remember the kids central's moving vegetables and fruits advertisement which keep appearing before the start of shows? Then the song keep going higher and higher pitch till it screams and become crazy? What is the name of it? Can anyone remember it?

Hairs~

I decided to use this bronze/red colour for my title "Hair" because my hair colour is something like that. The topic today will be hair. Sometimes I wonder why my hairs will curl while others are borned with straight hairs. Sometimes I wonder why the people had blonde hair and wants it black while some people had black hairs and wants it blonde?

Well, I believe that different people had different opinion. In some point of time or even trends that are being set by the people, we have different desired images. Hairs are dead cells to begin with and we will stop growing hairs when we die. For the boys, we will need to cut "botak" when entering army.

Talking about hairs, alot of people ask about this question alot of times and I think I've got the answer to it.

Pu bor: I am a girl and I have moustache, Cannot la...
Siao gi na: Shave it off like how ella do it.
Pu bor: Cannot! later shave liao, the hair grows out more thick and dark
Siao gi na: Then keep shaving lor

That's the worry of being a girl. Some girls had hair problems at unwanted places and they need regular shaves. We are boys and need not worry about hairs at any parts of our body unless we want to be neat and clean.

I don't think cutting or shaving hairs stimulate new growth. If that is true, then the "going-to-be-bald" people will shave their hair to make their hair grow back. Now, it sounds reasonable but to a certain extent...

I remembered the first time when I use a shaver for my moustache during secondary days or so. (The school doesn't allow moustache) The moustache hair at that time were "fine". After several shaves, the moustache grew back thicker and darker till it will become obvious if you do not shave it for weeks.

So my conclusion cannot be drawn whether or not shaving or cutting hairs will results in growing out hairs that are darker and thicker. I can only say that different parts of the body have different growing ways. Also, it depend on individual people's hair.

Cannot, we need some 'hair' pictures if not we will be bored by those words...

Super nice hair!

I want to try having that hair-do!

Do you still remember the old hair toy that we used to play with? If you have it, it's a treasure now lor~

I just have to connect it to Timothy's hair! Bah!

Some fun notes about hair! May be true or may be false. Try it or believe it at your own risk!

If yor want curly hairs, eat the curst of the bread

Children had been told that if they want a curly hair, they must eat the curst of the bread rather to saw them off before eating.

Plucking 1 grey hair causes 2 to grow back

It takes about three months to grow a new hair and about an additional three months for that hair to achieve enough length for us to notice it. Therefore, by the time the grey hairs we pull out grow back in, we've aged six months; during that stretch, more of our hair has turned grey, including hairs in the neighbourings of the one we pulled out.

Hair colour is an indication of temperament

In superstition and folklore, redheads are assumed to have ungovernable tempers, dark hair suggests great strength and virility, and fair hair stands as an indication of a weak nature.

Vinegar rinses lock in hair colour

Hair does not like holding onto dye, especially when it is exposed to sun or high-pH haircare products, which probably gave rise to the notion that vinegar (which is low-pH) would counter this effect.

Ok, really interesting! I guess I got to go.

*taking vinegar to the bathroom*

Let's welcome Timothy!

Woke up at about 7:45am by my sis's call. She told us that we could visit her from 10am onwards. I proceeded to call Lilian auntie and Jinjin. We agreed to meet at 11:30am, Jurong East. My mum and younger sis also came along.

We do not know how to go to KK hospital (Kandang Kerbau Women's and Children's Hospital), but luckily Lilian auntie knows briefly where to get off. My younger sis is born in KK hospital but my mum do not even know how to go there. Her excuses was that she took a taxi to KK hospital. Last time, the taxi fares was at least affordable but now, it's a no-no.

This is a brief map of how to get to KK hospital. I took it down and thought that I was so clever to think of such a brilliant way!

But to my displeasure, the KK hospital is not even shown on the map itself. Which means I didn't even refer to it at all if not I would have noticed it. Anyway, KK hospital is along the vertical line that stretch right across the map (out of picture). And yes!, KK hospital is near Little India.

When we finally reached there, we go to the wrong place. We went to the children section or whatsoever. We were dead beat by the time we found the correct ward. The two Queens (my mum aka Diamond queen and lilian auntie aka heart of queen) was talking about the same things that they had gone through; giving birth. They were also comparing KK hospital and "Ah-li-san-da" (Alexandra) hospital which we wouldn't know the differences between them.

Anyway, we reached there and saw my sis. I look at my sis in disbelief. My sis had finally done her part to the society and now a mother! I felt like she had gotten off her load and her greatest barrier. I just feel so happy for her. However, the main baby boy is not there because he just vomit milk and was pushed back to the baby's room.

We chatted with my sis and her mother-in-law. Then later came her husband and we had great fun talking about the giving birth process. It's like so amazing how our body works. Heard from her mother-in-law that a liquid or something that comes out after giving birth is used as Botox.

Anyway, enough of my bragging on and on. Time for the pictures of Timothy!

-_- Timothy

Timothy look like the Qoo picture on the can behind.

Opening eyes for a second and quickly close it.

Muahahah, you think I am gone liao right? Trying to peep whether am I still taking photo of you?

The hair so messy? Newest fashion?

Close-up! Aiyoyo, So dirty. The hair sticks up because of the blood that is dried up.

Lilian auntie adjusting the head of the baby. The baby keep sleeping on it's left side which is not good for him. The shape of the head will be flatten.

A very naughty face!

Ok, can sleep well le.

When there is bright light, he don't even open his eyes.

Now darker, he open one eye to peep!

The ear flatten because he kept sleeping on that ear. It just shows how fragile a baby is!

Okay, Timothy needs to sleep. Let's not disturb him.

Super Suay!

After visiting my sis and the baby, we ate and went home. My mum went to my grandma house and I decided to go home and make cakes. The cakes here refers to pass motion. I have a habit of only using my home toilet to make cakes and no where else. When I am in the public, I will either endure it or had no motions to pass at all.

And so, when I was reaching my lift, I remembered I forget to bring my keys. My stomach growls and hurts abit. I could sense a big tidal wave coming. I couldn't do anything but to endure it. I quickly took a bus to my grandma house and bomb the house. I was free and felt relieved after that! I was glad that I had the ability to store waste for a period of time. Wonder if it is a blessing?

I am Sick!

I am typing this entry with a very irritating mood. Nobody like the feeling of getting sick and I should say I deserve it. I can't think and my head is so heavy. It's like someone of 70kg sitting on the top of my head. I am also currently on a cold sweat. I can sweat when I am feeling cold. It's a mixed feeling, I guessed.

Hopefully, when I finish up with this entry, I will feel better. I believe that blogging can make my mind clearer and make myself more patience. However, I am only gibbering.

Latest news of my sis.

The baby is still not born yet but I know my sis is going through severe pain right now. My mum called my sis this morning and she was injected with painkiller. My sis couldn't resist the physical pain despite my mum's word of advice of telling her not to get the painkillers. I heard the painkiller is not good and might caused problems.

My mum had given birth to three of us and she bear through the pains without painkillers. For me, it was a special case because I had gone through with Cesarean.
According to my mum, because my head did not come out first. Instead, my leg came out and the doctor perform Cesarean Section on my mum.

Now back to my sis. The doctor says she need to wait for another 12hours of pain before they can operate on her. I felt weird at that particular sentences and why do she need to wait for another 12 hours of pain!?

I believe the doctor's professionalism as I am not anything into giving birth. I guess my sis had to endure the pain and hopefully by tonight, the baby will be out safety. *Whispering supporting words like Ganbate and Go go go, after this you are free!*

Cabal online

Had always wanted to try this game. But currently they are in open beta. Which means they will released it when all bugs and errors were removed. I hope they do not charge money or I am going to say byebye to this game.

Yesterday, as I was feeling really bored after some Dota games. Jeff msn me and told me he started Cabal. (Short form of Cabal is CB). Ya so jeff started CB-ing. LOL! I hate playing games alone and hence I asked Mk to play CB also. (LoL sounds so wrong!). It's long time since we start with a new game. We were of course excited and such.

I thought of using the disc to install it to my computer (Picture above), but later found out that it don't work. I put in the disc and waited like gong kia hoping the disc will have some effects like popping a screen out. It didn't. In the end, I used manually installation and lose to mk in completing the download because I keep trying the stupid disc.

After download, me and mk play the game together. We found out that we just keep doing quests and it will give us tremendous experience points. Which means, we do not need to keep killing the same monsters over a period of time because the quests will ask for different monsters-killing in order to complete the quest.

I chose wizard because I don't like to tank monsters. The wizards specializes in orbs and they shoot spells from afar. I guess the reason why I am attracted to CB is because of it's cool characters and superb spells learning. Other than that, the game makes me dizzy because it is 3D.

I played CB till 3am in the morning today and maybe that institute to my sickness. The other 1 hour is for me to try and recall the school's passwords because apparently, I forget about it after not logging in to leo for a long time. I miserably slept at 4am and woke up at 11am.

Wow! after writing this entry, I feel better. I can feel this energy of a dragon in me waiting to be unleashed!
