2nd Chance

Meet up with Zakia, ShaoCheng and Andy at Woodlands control station and we walked to school together. Saw yuenky at there too and she sold me a $5 worth of coupons for her class's event. Hearing that it was for yellow ribbon project and to support her, I bought one set/piece/paper.

School was relaxing as it was the second last day of school. I was happily downloading wallpapers and testing them. Whenever facilitator popped up near me, I will just toggle back to the "pre-opened" Wikipedia pages and act like as if I am in deep concentration of reading those.

Don't blame me for using this method but I guess everyone's using it. You just need to be careful not to be caught or else you must solely bare the consequences. Afterall, we had been using this method for almost two years, we can't be that careless as it is like brushing your teeth every morning.

Whenever break time is near, the msn magically nudged. In fact, the cheapos gang were all furiously typing their reminders for each others to meet at the food court. It is as though this meal will be their last breakfast.

Since I bought the coupons for the yellow ribbon project thingy, of course I must exchange those coupons to foods and drinks or else it wouldn't be worth my $5. So I met up with Sherman and Marcus which also belongs to the Cheapos gang. We quickly scan through the booths in hopes of getting really good deals.

When all else fails, we decide to look for yuenky (lady boss) to give suggestion on what to buy. She, of course recommended her own booth of throwing darts in exchange of prizes. The best prize in her booth was supposedly the watch. To my horror, Lester, who happens to be one of the cheapos gang member, had gotten the watch already. He had secretly gone down and kept quietly about it.

With anger and revenge feelings all mixed together, we decide that we cannot lose to lester. We bought a few darts and Sherman tried throwing all over the balloons. In the end, we only got small packet of snacks. Then we secretly beg yuenky to give us the watch so that we won't lose face.

At first, yuenky was reluctant to give but luckily her friend overheard our conversation and said in an angelic voice "Give them la, anyway we got 40+ of watches"

We continued to walk around and saw many familiar faces. When we are almost done, I was left with 2 coupon. I went back to yuenky's booth and play the luckydraw dip. This time, it was not yuenky who served us. I was worried that I would get rubbish draws and the person wouldn't allow re-draw. To my surprise, I got a snack and a watch!

I went back to class with a free goodie bag, 4 packets of milo, 2 packets of popcorns, 3 packets of snacks, 1 coffee cup pad, a watch and a sun burst jelly that worth $2.50. Looks like my $5 was well-spent and Teresa, You missed it all!

After school, shared cab to CWP with yuenky and sherman. Then we went yoshinoya to eat. We talked about our primary and secondary school days. I was a runner then and these are my proof.
