Cat abuser

I seriously cannot take it anymore!!! Who is he to determine the fate of a cat? A cat is an animal that has feelings and life. When we are at the coffee shops, we often sees uncles and aunties showing the kicking signals to the cats because the cats come too near to the tables. Maybe they have a phobia or they are very concern with the hygience levels. However, all this can be understand as the kick signals simply shows the cat that they should not go too close to this person as he or she doesn't like it. For this person, it is opposite. He took cats home and torture them!

This person shows otherwise. His name is David Hooi. Yes, a weird name for a weird person. He is the famous cat abuser who lives at Bedok. (Ian, if you sees him, please make sure he's not with a cat in hand.) Just months after his release from prison, the serial cat abuser had been arrested for the third time. Isn't him sick or what? This is the third time that he will be jailed for such sickening acts and he doesn't repent.

His first torturous act happens in March 2006. He was sentenced to three months' jail for abusing a 1.5-month-old kitten. He had hit the black and white kitten on the head and tortured it so badly that one of its eyes protruded. The cat had to be put down. However Hooi was released a month early for good behaviour. How can anyone released a monster that had such acts?

Because of the released of such monster, it leads to a second feline torture. In june, just two months after he was released from prison, he was arrested again. This time, he tortured a four months old cat until its eye swelled and one of its teeth broke. The cat was also put down and it is considered one of the worst cases of animal abuse. The judge sentenced him to the maximum of 12 months in jail. I feel that it was not enough for a second time offender.

Indeed he did not learn his lesson and a third time occured. People saw him carrying a black and white cat again but the neighbours did not stop him back then. The neighbours thought that he was a changed man. However, the cat suffered a bloody eye and the people were guilty for the cat because they did not stop him. He is someone who had done it twice and what makes you think that he will not do it a third time?

Seriously, I hate him so much. What if the animal that were being abuse is dogs? I am sure the dog-lover will be more vigourous and tends to make the whole situation sound more serious than this. I am not saying that cats should be the ideal animals to be tortured but don't you think that the cats abusing had been on the rise recently? Perhaps, next time we should keep a look out on cats and suspicious beings. Cats or dogs, they will still be the favourite pets of the humans.
