White Tiger bites!

Have you heard the latest news about white tigers biting a guy in the zoo recently? I guess all of us had the wrong idea already. Well, the latest news says that the guy actually went in and act like the cleaner who was in charge of cleaning to commit suicide!

What a way to commit suicide!?

You know what? He thinks he was being funny to go into the white tigers' territory with a broom and a pail-like object and disturb the tigers. Any normal people will know the consequences of entering and might even freaked out. I can safely say that he is abnormal if he chose to do it at his own will.

I really cannot understand his motives in doing it. He might be trying to attract attention or he wants to challenge the tigers in a fight or something. He might also think that the tiger's territory is quite dirty and hence he went in with a broom to clean up the mess. Or or, he wants to befriend the white tigers and perform a stunt or do something glamorous with a performance or some sort.

But I think the end message to all of us is that the white tiger's life is of much more value than that suicidal man. At first we thought that the man was so pitiful to be bitten by the tigers and only now we know that he has suicidal thoughts. It's like everything going against the nature of the system, offering human flesh to the animals.

Let me try to quote some source from ChannelNewsAsia

- The worker has been identified as Nordin Bin Montong.
- The contract worker was behaving erratically.
- "He was throwing things around and as he was walking out of the zoo, he passed comments like 'Goodbye, you won't see me again'."
- The three white tigers mauled him for five to ten minutes
- The 9-year-old tigers, which came from Indonesia, are in confinement for now.
- They added that it is natural for tigers to pounce on any prey and there is no reason to sedate the animals.

This is a picture of the white tiger from the Singapore Zoological garden that I took most recently. It's like only 3 months ago and I know how safe it is. The distance of the tiger from the viewers were very far. I do not know the exact distance but I know I had to zoom to the maximum when I took this picture.

And also, I agree with the point that there is no reason for the Singapore Zoo to sedate the white tiger as it is natural to pounce on any prey if provoked. It's like their very own kind of self defence and you go and use broom and make the tigers?

I also see pictures from the newspaper that the man use the yellow pail to cover his head when the tigers mauled at him. His neck was already covered with blood and he was still not giving up with the broom held up high. *Tsk, scream crazily and bang the mouse against the table* Is it a very glorified scene that he needs to do all these pose?

Careful at 0:28 and mummy, can we go now?
