Holiday, NOT!

Things got out of control when we initially thought that today will be a popular "pon-ten" day. According to some theorem or thesis that was mentioned in Lester's blog, one could enjoy a 5 day holiday if you give today's lesson a miss! However, due to some miscalculation and prediction problems, a UT test was scheduled and we had to attend school.

Too much of a disappointment but it soon ended as laughter filled the entire classroom. Meet up with Sherman and Yuenky after school. Walked over to causeway point and bought the movie tickets for "Painted Skin".

As the movie only starts at 7:20pm, we had like 2 hours of free time. We were hungry like "siao gina". We kind of forget our decision on the place to eat and we kept talking nonsensically. Along the way, spasm face was shown to increase the madness to the maximum 9001.

We went Ajisen to have their promotional sets. As usual, as expected, the service was NO good at all. They are doing injustice to the service tax that we paid at the end of the day!

After that, we went Gelare for ice cream.

Too bad it wasn't tuesday or else we could have gotten the half price promotion. Bah!

Ok, Yuenky was happily snatching the ordering forms to write the orders. She purposely wrote the orders in her smallest possible way to tease the waiter. Obviously she was there to create trouble as the order forms clearly stated that she can only choose one out of the three; either fresh cream, chocolate sauce or maple syrup. She simply ticked two times and asked Sherman to submit the form. The waiter returned the favour by walking over to our table, ignoring that slip of ordering form.

This is what we choose.

If my memory was good, I was able to remember the flavours...

Starting from the pinkish one and goes clockwise : Wild Strawberry, Tropical Mango, Chocolate Overload, Cappucino, Passion Fruit, Butter Pecan, Tiramisu and Cookies n Cream.

My favourites were Wild Strawberry and Tropical Mango and so I hastily ate off the oreo biscuit that acts as a separator between the two. When they are combined, it taste way better than stand-alone.

And whenever yuenky or sherman doesn't like any flavours in particular, they will "kaykay" use the oreo biscuit to clamp up the unwanted ones so that it can be separated from those they like. Very sucky one lor.

As if the oreo biscuit wasn't poor enough, yuenky still wants to torture it by scraping off the cream and eating only one side of the biscuit. I pity the 7 oreo biscuits left. (One was fully eaten by me)

After eating, we walked briskly to the theater. The show started but luckily those were not important parts. I kind of like the mysterious feeling that the producer had created. I also like the music inserted at the correct part to evoke eerie and spooky feelings. Overall, a nice, expected kind of love-sacrificing movie.

Let's just hope that more "Liao Zai" kind of movies will be featured in the time to come.
