My voice is back....

a little. When I want to say a certain word like "Hello" and "Wo", I will tend to lose voice over these words. These words are usually at the beginning of the sentence and need to make a "O" shape mouth to say these words.

Don't ask me why it happens like this. Try losing voice and experiment the "O" shape words next time. Other then not being able to say "O" shape words, there are other problems that are somehow connected to it.

Yesterday, My mum and sis called me. I said "Hello" and all that comes out is "Ha" and no "Lo". But luckily it was them, who called. I am not afraid of them hearing my "lost voice" voice. What if someone happens to call you and it is a wrong number? You use the "lost voice" voice of yours to answer his/her call. He/She scolded you because they thought you were a kid trying to make fun. How dangerous.

Another issue about losing voice is that you wouldn't dare to order food and say out your orders to the seller. It happens once to me and I don't intent to do it again.

Mi Fen seller: What you want?
Lost Voice Boy: *Point to the Mi Fen*
MFS: Ta bao or eating here?
LVB: Ta bao *WOW I was able to say out this word!*

Then I can choose vegetables, meat or gravy on the Mi fen just like economical rice like that. I was happy because I can say "Ta bao" and I thought miracles happened! Then I begin to order the vegetable and meat on my Mi fen. I "gey kiang" go and choose the "Niang Tou Fu" whereby they had different sort of things in it. Then MFS asked me which one I want in the "Niang Tou Fu"

MFS: Which one? *impatiently*
LVB: Cucumber (Ku Gua) *I point to it and no voice came out!"
MFS: HaR?!
LVB: I no voice *forget to cough to adjust the throat hence no voice came out*
MFS: Can say louder anot?!
LVB: KU GUA *better, but still no voice*
MFS: Haiz *He took the eggplant next to the cucumber*

I was so angry about his attitude. I had no voice and once you hear it, you know it. I can't pretend to play a prank on you. He asked me to say louder next time. **** you. There is no next time. Although the Mi fen is nice, I never go visit his stall for like 9 months.

Well, on the happier note, I just got my birthday present from sis. It's late but it's better than never. She drove down to hand it to me personally.



It's funny why she gave me a Jigsaw puzzle of that traditional sort? Maybe she likes it? I understand it was the year of rat but I never thought of this. It could be Zodiac or anime pictures. It's the thoughts that counts!

Anyway, My sis's husband is around when I collected the Jigsaw puzzle. I still don't know what to call him. I just say "Hello" to him and the problem comes again. I hope he don't mind my arrogant behaviour by just waving to him. I also hope my sis would have explained to her about me not having voice. Losing voice is certainly terrible. I can't imagine myself being dumb.
