Christmas celebrations! (23rd, 24th & 25th Dec)
It started off with the cheapo gang on 23rd Dec. We had early Christmas presents exchange and a simple stay over at Sherman's house. The efficient planner, Teresa, (she claims herself) plan this using the Facebook's 'event' function. (cheapo way)
We met at Orchard and not surprisingly, Marcus is not with us on that day. He says he is not feeling well or something but anyway, Happy birthday.
We walk around and took MRT to sherman's house. Lester need to go somewhere and he will join us later. We play Big 2, spongebob squarepants monopoly, take pictures with these things on...
When Lester came, we start to exchange presents. Everyone is unaware of each others' presents. Basically, everyone is aiming for Yuenky's present because hers was the biggest of all! Of course we did it the fair way by drawing lots.
In the end, I got sherman's shades, which is something that Yuenky already knows and she's hopping that she won't get it.
Lester, the cheapest of all, got Yuenky's biggest present and it turned out to be Ikea's laptop table. We all think that this present is super good and Lester is spitting orgasmic spasm from his face!
After that, we went for Geylang supper and we saw many uncommon sights at the dark streets. The Ti-Ko ah peks are sitting at the coffee shop table while the 'girls' are busy touching up although they are already wearing thick masks.
We got back to sherman's house and I told myself that I had to sleep a few hours no matter what because I still have to meet my friends later on.
Around morning (24th Dec), my sis came to fetch me and Teresa. Luckily she came, if not we had to take the MRT train, looking super restless.
Went to fetch Timothy from school. He got lots of presents and christmas goodies. He even got a BIG bear from their very own present exchange! What a clever boy! Kids these days are luckier than us.
At night time, we meet Tb, Hx, Mk and Ws at West coast plaza to have our christmas dinner. It is the most Ulu place in Singapore during festive seasons. If you are scare that there will be no place in restaurants during Christmas, think WC plaza. Oh no, I just revealed our secret place!
Unfortunately, we chose a restaurant called "Tian Wang" and their service and serving time is super duper bad and slow. Although they apologise, (it's too late to apologise) we still have to pay the bill right? Spoil our Christmas mood. To recall back, I think I eat mostly veges in the set meal.
Although the dinner was ruined, our exchange presents session was a success.
I got Tb's present of a headset and my sis got a DVD called 'Pi Zhi ying Xiong' (Black & White) from Ws. This year it's kind of different because we 'know' who are buying our presents for. Last year, we just have to buy things that are suitable for anyone because anyone can get any present.
After that, they play cards until 2am and the next day (25th Dec), the same bunch of us meet Jin Jin, Wei bin and Rui fang at Boon lay MRT for Jurong Safra Kbox session.(Qiu Yin meet us after that) Super long never meet up with them but they still looked the same to me.
After Kbox, we kind of had nothing to do because some of us want movie while others want shopping or bowling. In the end, we settled for Marina square. When we reach there, we straight away eat at Xing Wang restaurant. Don't know why we are all so hungry.
After eating, we went shopping and play those UFO machine whereby they can catch toys from it. I spent $5 just to get a snoopy keychain only lor. Somemore is tyco one!
Went Esplanade rooftop to rest.
Played 'Murderer' and it's super fun. We cannot really see each others eyes because it's pretty dark. The lights are not helping us and we are sort of unsure whether we are dead or not. (Murderer winked at you means you dead)
