Highlight

I just highlight my hair and I feel that it looked like the same as before. It's light brown or bronze that is almost same as my hair colour. If I did a very bright colour, I might regret. Now the colour is so un-see-able that I feel so regreted too. How? What done cannot be undone. Anyway, at least it acts colours to my life. Maybe I might look more awake instead of the sleepy looks.

I went to the salon at jurong east with my sis. She did the usual stuff (reborn her hair). The hairstylist was complaining how spoilt her hair is. The reasons for her spoilt hair is because previously she had done highlight and reborning. She also didn't protect her hair by applying things.(She was lazy). The hairstylist said that the highlighting colours are very damaging to the hair. But definately, highlight looks better than dyeing the whole head.

So what's the solution? Pay more money LOR. Basically, the salons are all out to earn money from us. They will promise anything you want but the effect is not there. You will look nice after you walk out the salon but not anymore when u go home. Don't tell me you do not bath for days just to keep that image. Also, I found out that hairstylist must not only good with styling your hair, they also need to have a good mouth. The mouth refers that they need to do sweet-talkings.

They say things that wasn't true and make you feel like you are in the heaven. Some people like those aunties (they think they very pretty), they pay whatever amount or whatever shit because of these sweet talks. They don't even have a mirror at home and thats why they need to use the salon's mirror. Unfortunately, the sweet talks doesn't work for me and my sis. Both of us were sending text messages to each other about their bad services.

Of course some of the sweet talks are:
"Wow, you two look like very loving couple leh" (When actually we are bro and sis -_-)
"Your hair very thick leh, if you cut, it will be easier to style and you will look more handsome" (Thx for the compliment, I am handsome even without styling~)
"Erm~ all our customer believe in us de. We only give the best to our customers"
"I am someone who loves my hair the most. If it's spoilt, I will cry. Just like my customer's hair, I love them like my own" (whatever, let's see what you will say when the customer have oily hairs)

Sweet talks aside, they had really a long history. Their salon name is "San jie mei" which is three sisters in chinese. They had been in this business for 20+ years. Actually I had to say that the hairstylist are really talkative. They talk to almost everyone in the salon and made us laugh like mad. She's even funnier than me! Also, that hairstylist also know my sis's husband as he had been cutting his hair at this salon for 10+ years! Such coincidence.

Eventually, my sis was quite contented with the reborning. Maybe it was because the hairstylist know her husband? I don't know. But one thing for sure is that my sis will be visiting this salon again the next time.

Enough of the salon. When I was walking to the bus stop before meeting my sis, I saw a Jc student and her mother waiting for taxi. When the taxi arrived, a Lao char bor auntie went ahead and took the taxi instead. The Jc student and mother was of course shocked!. They approached the taxi and the auntie. The auntie just smile and said something but I cannot hear. It's probably saying that she is in a rush and went into the taxi and left off. The Jc student was complaining now when the taxi left. Shouldn't she do the talking instead of the mother? What's the use of complaining when everything is over? I am not saying that the Jc student is wrong.

Anyway, when I board the bus, I saw them still waiting for taxi angrily. It's all the auntie's fault. It's so rude and not elegant to snatch a taxi like that.
