Will be going KOTA TINGGI tomorrow!

In case I am missing for days and no one seemed to be able to contact me through my cellphone, you know I am not in Sg. (Now I know people calling me from Sg when I am at Genting will not be able to get through, lol, I thought all along, people will be wasting money if they call me when I am at Genting. stupid me!!!)

Ok, this trip reduces from 5 to 4, and to 3 people. Nevertheless, I can totally understand things do popped up suddenly and due to unforeseen circumstances. Hope the next 3 days will be a fruitful one, right? Shao cheng and Sherman?

I packed my bag anyhow-ly because no matter how hard I tried to remember the things to bring, I will start to recall that I forget to bring this and that when I finally reached the place.

Hmm, I guess I don't need to bring so much things because Shao cheng's house will surely have the basic necessities like toothpaste, shampoo etc. Seriously I hate to bring these stuff because when I reach my destination and open up my bag, the shampoo and all the goo-ish stuff will leak out.

Even the towel I also don't feel like bringing. But since I managed to steal one during the Genting trip from the Hotel room, I decide to put it to good use :)

Not forgetting that I need to change some ringgits tomorrow. I shall give my SGD 42.014365465476575 to change for RM100.00. (I counted liao hor, the rate is 2.38 and any higher I won't pay hor)

Ok good night, I shall have an early rest.

Genting Trip 2009

19 Feb, Thurs

Tb came over to my house at 10am with everything packed and ready for the trip. Sis were already at my house by 9am with a "supposedly" luggage bag that is quite small for a pillow. I was furiously doing some last minute packing, hoping that the memory could be better during the most busiest time. (When I reach Genting, I still forget to bring somethings like comb, earpiece etc.)

Then we went over to Clementi K box for a singing session. We meet up with Mk who was with his packed sling bag. Seriously, I really hope JEC's Kbox was there because Clementi's Kbox seemed like a broken down center. The sofa was in a state of misery where it was torn and tattered. I wondered if the person who tear it, suffers from some extreme nervous-ti-sm where he or she sings and scratched off the sofa surface at the same time.

The remote control was not working properly and it only get better when we asked for a change in the second time. Nevertheless, it was a good start before our Genting trip.

After Kbox, we went over to Hx's place to pick him up. He just came back from Thailand and he bought many things for us. He also shared his experiences with us and this made me want to go Thailand even more. The things is so cheap and it seems like I need to save up a bit if I want to go there during this December.

After picking Hx up (with his smallest bag), we went Vivo because my sis want to buy crocs shoe for the Genting trip. She said that she needs a good shoe so that walking can be of no hassle to her. Like duh~ When is walking not tiring?

Very expensive. SGD80.00

After buying the shoe, we went back to the delicious clay pot rice stall. We ate a sumptuous meal and we are all prepared for the long journey ahead. My sis parked her van at her house's carpark and we took MRT to Lavender. This might be the first time in long years that my sis took a MRT because she seldom take public transports (except cabs). We took a photo to remind us of the historical moment!

When we arrived at Lavender, we walked to the Golden mile complex with our heavy bags. Little did we know that the tour company to take our pass was at Golden mile towers. It was a frantic moment searching for the tour company. Hx change his SGD to ringgit and Mk waving goodbye to his dad.

The coach was spacious and this is something I like about. No symptoms of headaches or vomiting or else the journey will be ruined.

I like the uncle behind. He allowed me to adjust my seats to lie down at an unreasonable angles. I know he doesn't mind because he didn't "Tsk" or say anything bad about us. The coach contained a whole family of koreans which I think will be staying there for a week or so. Kids were noisy as they just wouldn't sleep!

20 Feb, Friday

The coach moves in a swiftly manner and within a few hours, we finished the troublesome passport stamping and luggage screening. We were glad to reach a place called "Kim Guan" which is supposedly our resting point. We didn't go to the toilet as we were scare of being robbed in it. We simply ate some roti prata, which I think was very worth (RM3.50) and shop around for half an hour.

Cannot bring bubble gums back. Talk about it later.

After eating, we had to stay in the bus for 3 hours before we finally reached our destination, Genting Highlands. The journey is starting to get unbearable here because you had to sit there for 3 hours and your butt hurts. With dangers in mind, roads without any street lamps, complete darkness, you keep imagining that robbers might stop the bus and come in to rob us.

Luckily, we reached Genting safely and the first thing we experience after getting down the coach, WAS FREE AIRCON. This is especially unlike Singapore , hot and humid even at night time. Genting is fantastic, misty and cooling all times.

We tried to check in early but the counter only open at 4:30am. We put our bags at the luggage counter and we went to the Casino. I managed to walk pass the guards by 1 inch, after my sis (She is the only one that was not checked) and was being called back with the rest. The guards asked for our passport and in my mind, I was feeling super "pai seh" because I am certain that I will not be able to go through. I pretend to show him my Ez-link card, hoping that he might not know how to read it but still, the guards signal me to door I perish with disappointment.

In the end, only my sis and Tb went through because they were of legal age. And so, me, Hx and Mk walked around the deserted shops wandering like restless souls. It was about 5am and none of the shops are opened except Casino. As determined as a bear who was trying to catch the fishes in the river, Hx kept persuading me and Mk to try entering again.

Defeated by the guards, I was in a very low morale and nothing seemed like possible for me. There was even one time, while we were wandering, a guy in his thirties asked us if we want prostitutes. We ignored him but he don't give up. It was really scary.

We decide to eat while waiting for my sis and Tb to come out of the Casino. When we started eating, my sis came out and said that she won RM100. For a short time phase, she was able to win money and this made the others wanting to enter the Casino and kick some butts. However, I decide to wait for their return.

When I thought I will be alone for some time, Mk came to the lobby with a depressed look. He was not able to enter and I felt lucky because I was not rejected twice by the guards. I know, it's really a pity if we went Genting and did not go into the Casino but rules are there to be obey. I am 20 years old this year and I am sure the next year when I go again, I can slam the passport on the guard's face and he will slowly count

2010 - 1989 = 21 years old

Now that it is left with the 2 of us, we walked around and explored the places so that when all the shops and games are opened, we will be able to bookmark the place and waste little time finding it.

Not only did we explored the interior, we explored the exterior as well. The wind blow into my face and it send shivers down my spine.

This one is so funny. Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li. I actually want to watch it because I want to know the story but it will only be out on 26 Feb when I am back in Singapore. I doubt Singapore has this show.

The shopping centre made up of fake building structures. It also have a mini roller coaster running in the shopping centre. You actually can sit on it and zoom around the shopping mall.

This swan rides is in the shopping mall as well but it moves extremely slow and it's purpose is to let you sit in it and carry you around the shopping centre for 1 round.

Mcdonald was the same price in Singapore; if not higher. A big breakfast cost $6+ in Singapore and RM16.50 at Genting.

On the way to theme park. This picture made me think of the movie, The Mist.

Without Casino, theme park will be the best entertainment for us. RM51.00 is equal to SGD21.28. That will be the price for all the games in the theme park! (except one)

Temple hidden from common eyes. The incense smoke combined with the misty aura, you cannot differentiate between them.

When it was 11am, we all meet at the lobby. Hx and my sis won some money while Tb lose RM100 or so. We checked in to our hotel room and bath immediately.

After that, we went to buy the band for the whole day all parks passes. Since outdoor theme park closes at 7pm, we decide to try out all the outdoor rides before the indoor ones.

The first game we tried was warm up. Nothing scary and it's like sitting on a swing but the swings rotate and turn around in a very fast mode. It feels like your legs will hit against something but not. We screamed each other's name and raise our hands high in the air.

Next, we tried their pirate ship and we managed to snatch the seats at the most far end of the ship. The "losers" behind us, "Tsk" us because they couldn't get it. Overall, the pirate ship is okay but when the ship went to the point of 180 degrees vertically, the people opposite you, will become directly above/below you. What if they scream and a saliva dripped out and land on your face?

This type of games is the most wasteful of the lot. The band that we bought doesn't entitled us to these games. The game is simple. Hook a duck and "0" means no prize, "1" small prize, "2" medium prize and "3" large prize. However, the bulldog looks like Timothy and I want to win it!

This one requires RM10.00 even with the band that we bought. It was extremely fun! We are supposed to stand into one of the red red thing facing the left side. When the game start, it will tilt horizontally and now we will be lying on our fronts with face, facing downwards! Guess what? The game starts and zoom off in a very fast motion with rotation of 360 degrees and even speeding at corners. We were let off with many bruises.

Sad to say, the extreme roller coaster was being serviced and we are being forced to play the mini version of it; cyclone. The one that goes up and down 20 levels was under maintenance. How suay can we be? Go-Kart was having a terrible long queue and the play time for each person is about 10 mins. How long must we wait before it is our turn? In the end, we never play this 3 extreme games.

Lots of cup corning for my sis. If I am able to count, I think she ate 7 cups for this Genting trip. Not forgeting everytime she asked for extra butter.

We moved on to indoor game and this is one of the best game ever, The Bumper Car! I forget how many times we queue for it and we just keep going for it. After each game, we will quickly dashed out and queue again. It seems like it is always the few of us. We kept ganging on some innocent faces or ah nehs. The collision will caused them to jump a bit and this is the part we like most. Seeing the hair sprang up in all direction and the face of shock.

This is the ugly swan ride around the shopping centre at an amazingly slow speed. However, ours is not swan but green flower pot. LOL

Believe it or not! I wanted to go this.

Superman banging through the wall. The shopping mall will filled up with things like that. We also tried the mini, but fast, roller coaster in the mall. We kept screaming unnecessarily like crazy when we passby KFC and shops, making them look at us in an irritated look. We even told the kids behind us to scream along, which they obediently followed.

After the tiring indoor/outdoor games, we returned to hotel room with ice creams in hand. Sis, Hx and Tb went to the Casino without bathing while me and Mk bath for the longest time on Earth. Me and Mk gave some money to them and asked them to bet in the Casino for us since we cannot enter.

21 Feb, Saturday

By this time, it should be 21 Feb already. 12 mid night

Casino token. The smallest bet to open is RM25.00. However, if you want to bet on others, you can place a minimum RM2.50 or maximum of no limit.

The hotel's television is currently showing Miss No Good, which is a show I wanted to watch. (I just bought the DVD recently! yay) They were also showing One in a million (Something like american idol or Singapore idol) which comprises of malays. I don't understand malay but I watched a few contestants and felt that Harry potter book 3 is better.

The infamous cup noodles in a neat pyramid fashion.

Our Hotel room, a bit messy though.

When me and Mk was sleeping, my sis, Tb and Hx returned with a gleeful message that all 3 of them won. We were of course happy for them because we bet for them, remember? As quick as it happen, we collected the share that they win for us and we went back to sleep again.

Next morning

We went to the hotel's breakfast buffet. It was included in the package. (Die die also must wake up and claimed the breakfast)

The food is expected. Noodles, Nasi lemak, hotdogs, eggs, crossiant, coco krunch, honey stars etc. However, their service is very saddening. If it is a buffet, the waiters should be going around collecting used plates so that our table can be clear for another plate of food. But no, the waiters were spotted holding on to a new plate walking from place to place, ignoring the tables with plates pilling up like as if it is going to drop.

We returned to the hotel room with disappointment and we played dai dee with SGD. Then we headed out for a bit of shopping and ate at "Shang Hai Tian". The food there is okay and it is cheap. We ordered fried rice and duck breast noodle plus many dim sums and desserts. The bill came up to RM200.00 which I think was very cheap as we shared among the five of us. Not forgeting that the waitress returned my sis RM50.00 by mistake. lol

After the "what-it-looks-like-finally-a-meal" we went to buy tickets for the movie "Looking for a star" by Andy Lau and Shu Qi. Watching movie is especially worth becuase it's only RM11.00 which is like SGD4.59!!!!!!!

Wow! long time since I watched a movie that almost made my tears fall out. It revolves around 3 pairs of couples with Andy and Shu Qi being the lead couple. Their acting seemed so real and genuine. Also, the movie is in Cantonese making it extremely sexy to hear their original real voices.

After the movie, it was already 8pm. We went to the arcade and play those games that can win tickets for exchanging prize. The machine there were so lousy and expensive. RM3.00 for each game! When we was about to go off, we spotted a hammering machine that allow you to use the hammer and slam violently on the spot. We also played the boxing game where you need to wear the boxing gloves and punch hardly at the machine again. All the games they play is violent related.

There's 3 videos of them playing and it is so funny. However, I must seperate the videos with this entry because it might messed up the settings.

We went to explore again and we found another arcade that was way better than the one we played earlier on. That will explain the reason why the first arcade look so deserted and the second one, full of people.

Some crazy rich kids pulling tickets off the machine. That must have worth RM1 million!

When we finished looking at all the games in the arcade, we went to Mcdonald again. Not that Genting only has Mcdonald but we also went KFC earlier just that I didn't mentioned it as I forgot when we go. The MS KFC had cheese wedges while SG KFC had cheese fries. The SG Mcdonald had cheese burger but MS Mcdonald had QUARTER POUNDER!!!

After that, we went back to hotel again. Sis, Tb and Hx went Casino again. Me and Mk carried on the same routine of bathing for the longest hours. When we are bored, we decide to do some hip hop actions and this is what I did....

Totally hip hop-ish and yoga-ish, Thanks, I know.

While Mk say he can do better with a somersault... (This call somersault meh?)

Just as I clicked on the camera, the door opened and we was in a shocking mode. We were spotted like as if we were taking nude photos. At least that must be their initial thoughts when they open the door.

Embarrassment aside, they came back with the most shocking news of all. Each of them won quite a lot in the Casino. My sis won RM550, Tb RM850+ I think, and Hx the biggest winner RM1000 if my memory hasn't fail me. They told us that there is this auntie that has the smelliest mouth on Earth but she helped them win that much. (Just by sniffing some of the bad breathe and following her)

22 Feb, Sunday

Last day of the Genting trip and we were so fatigue that we skipped the free breakfast. Tb, who was sleeping on the sofa because there is not enough space for 2 days, went to the Casino in the earliest hour in a failed attempt of tickling me on my ears for 7 times.

I was awaken by my sis's sleep talk that goes "RETURN MY PRIZE LA!! RETURN LEH, TSK. WALAO, I WIN SO MUCH, TSK" It was this scary, yes, trust me. She later woke up and tell us her dream that is of similarity to the sleep talk we heard.

According to her, she said that she won a lot of prizes and they were neatly arranged. In the middle of the prizes, there is a door and a boy kept stealing her prizes through that door. -_-

Very angry when I look at the scenery of the Genting highlands that morning. I spotted the extreme roller coaster back in action and the ride that goes up and down 20 levels was opened again! WT*

Not only that, my waist hurt a bit because of the last night furious tickling session in the hotel room. We were supposed to gang up on Mk when they kind of reversed and gang up on me instead. we quickly pack our bags and I steal 1 towel from the hotel. hehe.

Tb later returned from the Casino and he won again. Super lucky and he treated us to the Genting resort buffet.

The buffet serves mainly indian crusine. >;(

The food consist mainly flour,

and more flour.

My sis ordered for a orange juice during the buffet and thought it was free but it cost RM9.20. The only drinks that is free is plain water, coffee and tea.

Each pax cost RM42.50 and the food wasn't nice at all (except crackers). The choices were limited and mostly indian crusine. Desserts were kueys and puddings. All the extremely very filling stuffs.

In a furious state, we created a mixture to show our displeasure by wasting their sugar, creamer, food, water, grapes, mayonaise and etc.

Hx was showing the look of a monstrous eyes to show that the food was not tasty at all.

There were some time left before getting on the coach and so we went to the arcade and play some games. We thought that half an hour was way more than enough to collect our bags and check out but we was wrong. A lot of people appeared out of no where to collect bags and luggages and we were almost late, boarding the coach.

When we were getting down Genting Highlands on a coach, our ears was become deaf as if there is something blocking us from hearing. The pressure difference caused this and it was unbearable. Besides that, it was raining heavily all the way from Genting to Singapore.

We reached a rest point called Mal Tengah to buy a lot of stuff like iasdguag, jdkaskjdhas, dusahdiasdhia, daoshdasaos and many many more. Spend about RM60+ and had a wide varieties of stuff to eat and bring back to Singapore.

When we reached Woodlands check point, I was being stopped because the censor lighted up. I brought a packet of bubble gum, left 2, and the police officer said I was not allowed to bring gums to Singapore. In the end, she smile smile because it's only 2 of it and she let me pass. lucky~

Then me, Tb and sis took a cab back when the uncle GL-ly asked if we want to go by which way? I hate taxi uncle that does this becuase I had little knowledge about the expressway. Luckily my sis and Tb was a driver and they blah blah blah *say a few words like CTE then PIE*

My sis asked the uncle to turn into bukit batok way and we knew it was kind of wrong but we kept quiet because we aren't sure. The uncle was puzzled as well but none say a word. It was until we reached my house then the uncle started saying things like "shouldn't have go this way, should have go that way".

I was thinking that, since you know the way, you shouldn't have asked us which way to go in the beginning and when my sis asked him to turn into bukit batok way, he should have explained to us that the other way is a nearer one to my house.

Before I went deeped into my own explanation, my sis replied with a more GL-ish tone "I got money to pay what". Everyone goes quiet at the sound of that phrase. It was a awkward scene and I heard the uncle murmuring softly.

I was the first to get off but judging from the incident just now, the uncle will purposely make things difficult for them like crossing the hump with regular speed and making an ultra long way home.

It was very tiring but we got home and play dota. That was the end of the Genting trip.
